💳 Log Payments from Outside Upheal in One Place

We're making it possible to record payments that happened outside of Upheal so your full payment history lives in one place. If a client paid via Venmo, check, cash, or through your previous EHR, you'll be able to log that payment, link it to a session, and see it alongside everything processed through Upheal.

Right now, creating an invoice in Upheal automatically sends an email to the client. That creates confusion when a client has already paid or when you're logging older payments from before you switched. With this update, you can create invoices without notifying the client, and optionally upload an external invoice PDF for your own records. External payments show up in your payment history, count toward your totals and analytics, and can be used for superbill generation, just like Upheal-processed payments.

This is especially useful if you're migrating from another system and want your complete payment history in Upheal without starting from zero.
