Being that many therapists offer a sliding scale, but we have our set fees, there should be an option in invoicing where we can write off for a specific client. For example, if I charge $200 and a client is only going to be paying $125, there should be an option for a write-off of $75

    For insurance billing, write-offs are recorded per adjudication. For self-pay, we’re introducing the ability to record a single write-off per session, which should cover sliding-scale situations where the client pays less than the full fee.
