We're building automatic session prep so you walk into every session already caught up. Before a session starts, Upheal prepares a short brief: what happened last time, how the client's measures are trending, where the treatment plan stands, any homework you assigned, and anything worth flagging.

Right now, prepping means opening the chart and re-reading your own notes in the ten minutes between clients. The brief will be waiting for you on your home screen and in the Assistant, so those ten minutes go back to you.

This is the first of a new kind of capability in Upheal, where the Assistant works ahead of you instead of waiting to be asked.

    Session prep - Now Live

    Preparing for a session just got easier.

    Ten minutes before every scheduled session in Upheal’s calendar, AI automatically creates a personalized client prep brief—so you can spend less time searching through notes and more time focused on your client.

    The overview appears on your Home page, with a more detailed version available in Upheal Assistant. You can also ask follow-up questions to quickly get the context you need. It brings together:

    • Session history and past transcripts

    • Progress notes

    • Assessment scores and trends

    • Treatment plans

    • Homework and important items to flag

    This means you get a clear picture of where things stand—not just a recap of the last session. The brief is available before you meet, giving you back those valuable minutes between clients.3

    Personalized to Your Style

    Upheal’s session prep also adapts to the way you work. Teach the Assistant your preferences with Assistant Skills, and it will remember your style automatically.

    Can this be used for clients we are only using the recorder with, not just the ones we have scheduled on our calendars? I have recurring clients I see each week so this would be great to have for those I don’t see through upheal.
