🔍 Denied Claims, Investigated and Appealed for You

We're teaching the Assistant to handle denied claims end to end: explain the denial, draft the fix, or write the appeal. Instead of deciphering CARC codes and remittance jargon, you ask "why was this denied" and get a plain-language answer, like "the client's old plan ended March 14, your session was March 20, and their new plan was already active."

From there, the Assistant takes the right next step. If the claim is fixable, it drafts a corrected claim for you to review and resubmit. If the denial deserves a fight, it drafts a formal appeal letter built from the denial reasons, the claim details, and the clinical context already in your documentation.

Chasing denials is the part of insurance billing therapists dread most, and the reason many write off money they earned. This turns it into a review-and-approve moment instead of an afternoon lost to it.

🔍 Find Out Why a Claim Was Denied, Instantly

We're teaching the Assistant to investigate denied claims and explain the denial in plain language. Instead of deciphering CARC codes and chasing down remittance details, you ask "why was this denied" and get a clear answer, like "the client's old plan ended March 14, your session was March 20, and their new plan was already active."

When the fix is clear, the Assistant drafts the corrected claim for you to review and resubmit. Combined with AI-drafted appeal letters, this closes the loop on denials: understand it, fix it, or fight it, without leaving Upheal.
