Switch from Any EHR with AI-Assisted Migration

We're building AI-powered migration that works with exports from any EHR. Upload the files your current platform gives you, whatever format they're in, and Upheal figures out the structure, sorts documents by client, and brings your records over. It works even for EHRs we've never seen before.

Today, switching means either manual re-entry or waiting on a concierge process. This turns it into a guided flow: drag in your export, answer a couple of quick questions, review what's coming over, and confirm. You'll see exactly what was imported before anything lands in your charts, so you can switch on your own schedule without losing your history.

Upload your export from your current EHR in whatever format it comes in: PDF charts, ZIP files, spreadsheets, Word or text files. Upheal splits and converts the documents and matches each one to the right client. Before anything is saved, you review what’s coming over, and “Go to source files” shows you exactly which original file each document came from.

Start from Settings › Import records. Group practices can book a call with our team for help with the move.

Notes in PDF format → Upheal Chart Migration

Please create a self-service chart migration that helps to move key data from any PDF document compilation to Upheal, with AI-assisted mapping to reduce manual work. This method could help many practitioners switching to Upheal from whatever platform they were using before.

Migration of TherapyNotes Active Clients - All data

The title says it…. I was told this was planned, but interaction with your AI and looking on the roadmap suggests that isn’t the case?

    Support bulk historical note import

I'd love for Upheal to support bulk historical note import. This could be a game changer for therapists who weren't happy with the last systems they’ve utilized. It would allow clinicians the opportunity to identify central themes or things that may have been overlooked.

@Tiffany Wilcox Upheal already supports automated migration of notes from Simple Practice. What EHR would you like to import notes from? We’ll be adding support for more soon.

    Sessions Health Migration Tool

I currently use Sessions Health EHR and a huge hurdle will be the ability to migrate data to Upheal.

Importing insurance information from the existing EHR to Upheal will facilitate a transition to Upheal as the sole source EHR. Without this import function, the administrative burden of manually inputting insurance information is prohibitive. It is like being all dressed up and nowhere to go.
