Audit Log Access for Practice Admins

We're making Upheal's audit log visible inside the app. The log itself already exists. Every action in your account is already recorded and retained to meet HIPAA requirements, and we can pull an export for you on request today. What's changing is that you'll be able to look at it yourself.

Admins will be able to open the audit log from settings and see who did what, when, and where, across clients, notes, and account changes. Access is limited to the admin role, so what the rest of your team sees stays the same.

    Clarifying something we got wrong in how this was written.

    Upheal already keeps a full audit log. Every action in the system is recorded and retained for HIPAA purposes. If you need a record of access or changes for a client, an audit, or a compliance review, contact support and we will pull it for you today.

    What is not available yet is a way to see it yourself, and that is what this card now tracks. It is moving up our priority list. The first version will be an admin-only view inside Upheal so you can check activity when you need to without asking us.

    Apologies if the earlier wording made it sound like there was no audit trail. There has always been one.

    The roadmap card has ben also updated to reflect the reality.
