Browser Extension for Auto-Populating Headway and Alma Clinical Notes

Develop a browser extension that integrates with Headway and Alma, allowing clinicians to automatically populate clinical documentation directly into their respective platforms. Clinicians who use both Headway and Alma currently have to complete documentation in Upheal and then manually copy and paste the information into the corresponding patient notes in Headway or Alma, which creates unnecessary duplicate work. Ideally, the extension would:

• Recognize the patient's chart in Headway or Alma and match it to the appropriate Upheal record.

• Automatically populate the relevant documentation fields, including progress notes, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plan information where supported.

• Preserve the formatting and structure of the original Upheal note.

• Allow clinicians to review and approve the information before submitting or signing anything.

• Maintain appropriate HIPAA safeguards and prevent information from being entered into the wrong patient's chart.

This would be especially valuable for therapists who use Headway and Alma for insurance billing while maintaining Upheal as their primary EHR. A secure, one-click transfer of documentation would eliminate duplicate charting, save considerable time, and make Upheal significantly more useful for clinicians working across multiple platforms.
