Need a way to send files to client through the portal rather than email.

It appears that currently the only way to share files with clients is through email, which is not standard of care. Standard of care is to keep all clinical documents in one place because if subpoened, it opens up our email to being involved in discovery. It also increases the chance that HIPAA violation could occur due to a variety of factors.

It’s more that I want the client to be able to see the same file at the same time. Like in Simple practice, you have a form and both you and the client can see it so it is a living document rather than something that has to be re-sent every time an adjustment is made.

Great news, @Marika Dvorak Messaging and Announcements are now available in the web client portal too. We've also added a rich text editor, and clients will still get an email whenever there's a new message or announcement waiting. We hope this update helps address the need you described.

@Marika Dvorak Thank you for the feedback. Have you tried using Upheal Messaging? It’s secure, simple to use, and allows file attachments. Or are you looking for a different way to share files?
