Regenerate Transcript

The feature of reassigning speakers in the session is helpful since at times it might get the speaker wrong.

However, what would be great is if the whole transcript could be regenerated if someone is added to the session, after the original generation of the transcript.

I ran into a moment where I was trigger happy and ended the session and uploaded it before I remembered to add an additional participant. I saw I could then add them later, by going to the transcript, hitting reassign speakers, then manage participants and add the participant from there. However, it would be frustrating to have to then go through the whole transcript and change the whole transcript to the correct speakers.

It would be so much easier that after I add the new participant, it could regenerate the whole transcript, adding in the new participant from there. Then, I’m only looking for the smaller fixes than trying to remember who spoke every single sentence.

I’m assuming this would be difficult to do if the original audio recording was deleted. If that’s the case, maybe an extra option to hold onto the audio recording for a certain period of time, like 24 hours (or even an hour) before it’s deleted. Just to help with trigger happy people, like me. I get this is working against the process of how the technology works, but any possibility would be great for these particular moments.
