Show participant names on couples/family calendar events

When I view my calendar, couples and family therapy appointments show only the account initials (e.g., "V.S."). This makes it impossible to know which individuals I'm seeing without clicking into the account!

I need to see at least the participants' first names—ideally full names—either directly on the calendar event or when I click to view details. This is essential for session prep and knowing who's actually showing up.

Currently I have to leave the calendar, navigate to the couple's account, and come back just to see who I'm meeting with. For a busy practice with multiple couples, this is a real workflow blocker.

Why it matters: Better calendar visibility = faster session prep and fewer mix-ups about who's attending.

Agreed this is a real prep and workflow blocker for couples practices. Showing participant names directly on the calendar event, or at minimum in the hover or detail view, is a reasonable ask.

I am really new to Upheal, so I am not aware of how often requests like this are implemented, and if they are, how long they take. Can you kindly give me an idea of how long developing a feature like this might reasonably take? Thanks in advance!

        Hi Liza, a great question.

We receive a high volume of feature requests, so we prioritize them carefully. When we’re already working on related areas (like calendar or session workflows), we try to bundle in requests that touch the same surface so we can deliver more value together.

That said, we can’t promise specific timelines until a request has been formally prioritized and scoped. Until then, it remains in our Backlog of this Roadmap.

The best way to stay in the loop is to keep an eye on the status of this post, any movement (e.g., from “Backlog” to “Planned” or “In Progress”) will show up here.
