It is important to maintain the history of the treatment plans in the app, not just the current treatment plan. This is required to see the changes in the treatment plan over time, and for legal and psychology board purposes. Exporting/downloading the app requires the treatment plans to be maintained separately elsewhere that may not be HIPAA complaint, liable to get lost, and also not easy to refer back to.
