Problem: When clients cancel appointments through self-scheduling, I have no way to know when they cancelled relative to my company's cancellation policy (48 hours notice required). Without timestamps and automatic notifications, I cannot enforce my cancellation fee policy, and I have to manually track and invoice clients β which is time-consuming and inconsistent.
Request: Add built-in cancellation fee logic that:
Automatically detects when a client cancels an appointment through self-scheduling
Compares the cancellation time to a configurable cancellation policy window (e.g., "charges apply if cancelled within 48 hours")
Auto-generates an invoice for the cancellation fee if the cancellation falls within that window
Notifies me of the cancellation with a timestamp so I'm aware it happened
Ideal Setup: In Settings > Services, allow me to configure:
Cancellation policy threshold (e.g., "48 hours notice required")
Cancellation fee amount (e.g., full session charge, or a custom amount)
Whether to auto-invoice or flag for manual review
Benefit: This would allow me to enforce my cancellation policy consistently without manual tracking, protect my revenue, and keep the self-scheduling process fair and transparent for clients who understand the terms upfront.
