Group Therapy Sessions and Notes
We're adding group therapy support so you can run sessions with multiple clients and generate notes that reflect how a group actually works. Instead of creating workarounds with individual or couples sessions, you'll be able to set up a group, add members, and let Upheal capture the session with the full context of who's in the room.
Group notes will capture overall themes and dynamics while noting individual client contributions, so each participant's chart gets the documentation it needs. Whether you're running a skills group, a process group, or a psychoeducation series, the notes reflect what actually happened rather than forcing group work into an individual session format.

this is essential for my practice. I need both the notes and the video ability to do this.

I’d like to see group notes available and include the same depth as the individual notes.

@Keith Vukasinovich MSEd MS Are you asking whether you can use Upheal’s telehealth to run a live group session (with multiple participants joining the same call)?

Groups therapy integration
Hello,
I am somebody who runs group therapy and would love to see that integrated. I'm able to use the AI note taker to get a general note, but then I have to put in people individually. If I could have them all jump in the system in a way that they are marking who they are and the notes are able to take group therapy notes, that would be amazing! I have come to a place in my practice where I believe that individual therapy is totally necessary and offers something different than group therapy. But, that group therapy is totally necessary as well and is the more powerful modality of the two. I'm beginning to see other therapists make the same shift and I think group therapy is going to become much bigger in the future. It would be great if you could integrate this.

Group therapy is very effective in several of the settings for my practice. We lose a lot of revenue due to group note complications.
