There should be an option to send multiple invoices to a client, whether it's for their own super bill or for their own records. Multiple invoices can be emailed to them at once
When sending an invoice, there should be an option to save the invoice without sending it, and the possibility of split payments. If a client has multiple ways of payment, whether it's an organization or a parent, the client can pay a portion of the payment.

The big shift: your invoice is becoming a real session ledger, not just a "please pay me" request.
Here's what you'll be able to do:
Log any payment, anywhere, anyhow (cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, you name it. Stripe optional)
Take partial payments without the workarounds
Split one payment across multiple invoices, the way billing actually works
See exactly where each client stands at a glance: owed, paid, credit on file
Apply client credit straight to an unpaid invoice
Send clean receipts for payments AND refunds
Pull a full statement for any client, any time
We also cleaned up the accounting under the hood so payments, refunds, and credit notes are first-class concepts. Fewer "wait, why doesn't this balance?" moments.
This is step one. It's also the foundation we needed to launch insurance billing support, which is coming soon after.
Going live later this week. Huge thanks to everyone who pushed for this here and on the roadmap.

A quick note here!
We're moving the release to the upcoming Tuesday. We have a few more final tweaks to make to ship something we're proud of. Plus, shipping right before the bank holiday weekend felt like bad timing. Thanks for your patience!
